Your impact
Responsibilities
- Prepare building energy models using IES, eQUEST, Energyplus to support sustainable designs and green building rating compliance.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Gather and interpret facility data from drawings and clearly document all assumptions in reporting format.
- Read and understand project documentation of energy / sustainable design related systems & requirements related to calculations and standardized energy compliance templates.
- Analyze and optimize building energy systems & design (Lighting, HVAC, Envelope, Passive systems etc.) performance using software tools, spreadsheets, and manual calculations.
- Acquainted with ASHRAE, LEED, GRIHA, IGBC, ECBC & other international standards pertaining to sustainability requirements.
- Perform code compliance analysis by evaluating prescriptive requirements, and whole building performance.
- Experience of undertaking green building assessments
- Experience of parametric modelling and computation design techniques is preferred not essential.

Here's what you'll need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in architectural or engineering related fields,
- 1-2 years experience in Energy modelling or a relevant Master's degree
- Experience in use of the following software IES, eQUEST, Energy plus, Open studio etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft software, particularly Excel, Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit
Preferred Qualifications
- LEED AP, IGBC AP / GRIHA, Mostadam AP preferred
- Experience with any other Building Physics and Building Performance Analysis such as thermal comfort, daylight and glare, and CFD, Whole building LCA is beneficial.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Revit API, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python, VB.
