About the Role
Purple United Kids is looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to support the day-to-day store operations and drive sales performance. The ideal candidate should have strong retail experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the overall store operations and daily activities.
- Support the Store Manager in achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and a positive shopping experience.
- Supervise and guide store staff to maintain high performance standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Ensure proper visual merchandising as per brand guidelines.
- Handle billing operations, cash management, and daily store reports.
- Resolve customer concerns and escalations professionally.
- Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and operational compliance.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of store staff.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation is mandatory.
- 2–5 years of experience in retail sales and store operations.
- Experience in Apparel, Fashion, Kidswear, Lifestyle, or Retail brands preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and MS Office.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and on weekends.
