The mortgage industry, with a recent experience focused on Quality Control
- Must have experience in the specific scope of work position being filled, demonstrating current acceptable production and quality rating metrics
- Candidates must pass background checks
- Candidates must be okay to work rotational and US night shifts.(24/7) and work over weekends when required
- Strong knowledge of income calculations, tax returns, reading credit reports, identifying red flags
- Basic knowledge of appraisal and ability to recognize red flags and ineligible properties
- Thorough working knowledge of GSE underwriting guidelines and automated underwriting engines (DU/LP)
- Strong analytic, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong ability to time manage
- Ability to work in a flexible and production-oriented environment
- Must be willing and able to work as part of a team
- Strong capability to work in multiple systems - paperless environment
- Must be willing to work in strict security environment
- NMLS-MLO Licensure preferred
- Candidates must be available to work outside of normal business hours when necessary
- Review and provide Quality Control feedback on mortgage loans completed by internal staff
- Expertise in Initial and Final underwriting
- Follow quality control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with scopes of work i.e Underwriting
- Must be able to fulfill the role of subject matter expert for the team and scope assigned i.e Underwriting
- Assist with required and/or identified training needs as it relates to quality control
- Analyze individual loan files and work completed by associates based on approved QC checklists
- Identify all red flags as defined in a mortgage file and report to leadership
- Analyze and publish error trend analysis, and devise and implement action plans to improve QC scores
- Share feedback and coach team members basis errors identified and proactively share errors trends and risk based on changes to policies and procedures
Notes
- Candidates should come with minimum of 8 years of experience into Loan originations
- Candidate Must have US Mortgage Experience
- Should have managed a head count of at least 80 (Direct and indirect)
- Candidates must have worked on Monthly business review, Dashboards of their respective LOB's they are working on.
- Candidates must have worked on Profit and Loss of their respective LOB's
