Qualifying Criteria as per AICTE – Assistant Professor
A) A full time MBA/PGDM in Business Analytics / Information Technology and Systems
OR M.Tech in Computers/Information Technology with 60% marks in concerned / relevant discipline from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
OR
B) A candidate has been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission will be an added advantage.
AND
C) Minimum 2 Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
AND
D) Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Consultancy projects, and a patent
filed.

Relevant Certifications: Professional certifications like Certified Business Analytics Professional (CBAP), SAS Certified Data Scientist, or Google Analytics can demonstrate expertise in the field.
Technical Skills:
- Data Analytics & Statistical Tools: Proficiency in tools and programming languages used in analytics, such as:
- Statistical Analysis: R, Python (especially libraries like Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and stats models), SPSS, and SAS.
- Data Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or even custom visualizations using Python's Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly.
- Database Management: SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, etc.), and familiarity with cloud databases (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure).
- Machine Learning: Knowledge of algorithms (e.g., regression, clustering, decision trees) and libraries like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and Keras.
- Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, and related tools can be a significant plus.
Industry Experience:
- Hands-on Analytics Experience: Practical experience working in the analytics industry (e.g., in consulting, finance, marketing, operations, or supply chain) is highly valuable. This real-world experience enables the faculty member to provide students with industry-relevant examples and case studies.
- Experience with Data-Driven Decision-Making: Knowledge of how analytics are used to solve business problems and improve business processes across various domains.
- Consulting or Corporate Experience: Experience in consultancy or leadership roles that involve analytics could add credibility to their teaching.
Job Description:
- Job responsibilities would include teaching, mentoring of students and active participation in institutional building activities
- Develop the program curriculum in association with Knowledge Cell based on market requirements under supervision of the Principal
- Should organize requisite number of MDPs & FDPs with domestic universities
- Should consult with large domestic or international companies [as per NBA criteria]
- Should be able to collaborate with industry for consulting assignments.
- Should demonstrate a high degree of research proficiency and be accountable for writing and publishing articles both domestically and globally.
- Connect with Alumni for various activities of the institute
- Should have the desire and aptitude to contribute to a leading and fast-growing educational institution that aspires to scale-up its impact at local, regional, and global levels
- Encourage and motivate students through various experiential learning beyond the classroom.
