Assistant Salesman cum Production Coordinator

Location: Gargee Designers, New Delhi

Work Schedule: 6 Days a Week (Tuesday Off)

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Work Mode: Work from Office

Gargee Designers is a premium menswear brand based in New Delhi, crafting custom-made suits, sherwanis, tuxedos, kurtas and contemporary menswear since 1980. We combine fine craftsmanship with modern styling to create garments that are tailored for every occasion.

• Assist sales executives in serving and coordinating with clients.
• Conduct trial sessions with the master and accurately note alteration requirements.
• Ensure final trial and garment fitting before delivery.
• Coordinate customer deliveries and assist in payment clearance.
• Process customer orders received at the store or through WhatsApp.
• Send work to karigars and maintain proper order entries in registers.
• Coordinate with karigars to ensure timely production and accurate execution of customisations.
• Follow up with karigars and vendors to meet committed delivery timelines.
• Inspect finished garments for quality, finishing and measurements before delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order flow from booking to delivery.
• Coordinate with field staff for fabric procurement and production requirements.
• Communicate with clients, when required, regarding trials, deliveries, alterations or order updates.
• Maintain a neat, organised and customer-ready floor at all times.

• 2–5 years of experience in fashion retail, merchandising, tailoring or apparel production.
• Basic knowledge of garment construction and production processes.
• Good communication skills in Hindi and basic English.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp and maintaining registers accurately.
• Strong coordination, follow-up and organisational skills.
• Responsible, disciplined and willing to learn.
• Experience in bespoke tailoring or menswear will be an added advantage.
