Garment Show of India (GSI) is on of the largest apparel sourcing trade show in India, serving as a premier platform for buyers and sellers to interact and grow their businesses. Organized by SAINA Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd., the show gathers manufacturers, retailers, distributors, wholesalers, brands, and fashion designers all under one roof.

GSI is the only event of its kind held in New Delhi and is extensively promoted nationwide, attracting around 8,000 visitors daily. The show features major retail and sourcing teams from leading brands and online retailers across India.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Assistant Sales Manager specializing in Tradeshow Space Selling, based on-site in Delhi, India. The Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for selling exhibition space, managing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Daily tasks include reaching out to potential exhibitors, following up on leads, and negotiating contracts. The role also involves coordinating with the marketing team to ensure effective promotion of the tradeshow and maintaining up-to-date records of sales activities and client communications.

  • Marketing and promotional skills
  • Knowledge of the garment and textile industry is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
