Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Sales Manager – Home Loans role based in Madurai. The Assistant Sales Manager will source and acquire new home loan customers through direct outreach, channel partners, and referrals, while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. Responsibilities include explaining home loan products and eligibility criteria, assessing customer requirements, and guiding applicants through documentation and the end-to-end loan process. The role will involve coordinating with internal credit, operations, and legal teams to ensure timely processing and disbursal of loans, as well as adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines. The Assistant Sales Manager will also track sales performance, prepare regular reports, and contribute to local marketing and business development initiatives to achieve assigned targets.
Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, relationship building, and target achievement in retail lending or financial services.
  • Good understanding of home loan products, basic credit assessment, and property-related documentation, or willingness to quickly learn these areas.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, with the ability to explain financial products clearly and build trust.
  • Ability to work on-site in Madurai, manage field visits, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in home loans, mortgage lending, or banking/NBFC sales is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates.
  • Proficiency in basic MS Office tools and familiarity with CRM or sales tracking systems; comfort working with digital applications and reports.
  • Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
