We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Sales Manager for Textile industry in Amritsar, Punjab . The ideal candidate will support the sales team in achieving targets while managing client relationships and exploring new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the sales team and driving sales targets for the fabric division.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the fabric market.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional strategies for fabric products.
- Conduct market research to understand current trends and customer preferences.
- Provide training and support to junior sales staff on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-6 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the textiles or fabrics industry.
- Strong understanding of fabric types, qualities, and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify customer needs and propose appropriate solutions.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
