We are looking for Assistant Sales Manager
Location: Mumbai & Delhi
Job Summary:
Leads the Playtime division's sales and marketing operations, driving revenue growth, market expansion, and brand visibility. Manages forecasting, pricing, dealer engagement, key accounts, and product launches while ensuring strong marketing communication and performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the division's overall sales and marketing functions, including customer acquisition and market development.
- Achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets through effective forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Set annual sales plans, regional quotas, pricing strategies, and gross-profit targets based on market trends and product performance.
- Develop and execute sales processes, brand strategies, and marketing plans to strengthen market presence.
- Identify market opportunities by analyzing consumer needs, competition, and projected business potential.
- Drive product marketability by improving packaging, supporting new product development, and capitalizing on emerging opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, dealers, and vendors.
- Expand and engage the dealer network through meetings, training sessions, and sales strategy discussions.
- Lead the creation of marketing and communication materials; ensure effective market research and reporting.
- Coordinate product launches and regularly update management on business performance, financial planning, and operational improvements.
Preferred Industry: Building Materials, Paints, Cement & Concrete, Escalators & Elevators, Ceramics, Building Chemicals, Electrical, Locks.
Qualifications:
- MBA & Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
