Assistant Retail Store Manager

JUSTDOGS is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Assistant Retail Store Manager /Senior Retail Sales Advisor to join our retail team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine love for pets.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Attend to walk-in customers, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable pet products.
• Sales & Upselling: Drive store sales through product recommendations, upselling, cross-selling, and achieving sales targets.
• Spa Bookings: Manage pet grooming and spa appointments, coordinate with groomers, and ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Online Orders: Handle online orders, coordinate order processing, and ensure timely fulfilment.
• Home Deliveries: Manage customer home delivery requests and coordinate with delivery personnel.
• Store Operations: Maintain product displays, monitor stock availability, and ensure store cleanliness and organisation.
• Customer Relationships: Build lasting customer relationships, encourage repeat purchases, and promote customer loyalty.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a senior sales or customer-facing role.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and selling skills.
• Ability to upsell products and achieve sales targets.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with billing/POS systems.
• Ability to multitask and manage store operations efficiently.
• Must love pets and be comfortable handling and interacting with dogs and cats.
• Previous experience in pet retail is an advantage.
