Job Summary
The Assistant Restaurant Manager helps the Restaurant Manager run the fine dining restaurant smoothly. They make sure guests receive excellent service, staff follow high service standards, and the restaurant is clean, organized, and welcoming. This role does
not involve alcohol service.
Main Duties
- Help manage daily restaurant operations during service
- Ensure high-quality guest service and handle complaints politely
- Supervise service staff and ensure fine dining service standards are followed
- Train staff on menu knowledge, table service, and guest etiquette
- Assist with staff scheduling and shift management
- Monitor food presentation, service timing, and cleanliness
- Help manage inventory of food, beverages (non-alcoholic), and supplies
- Reduce wastage and control operational costs
- Ensure hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards are met
Skills & Requirements
- Experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant (non-alcoholic preferred)
- Good communication and guest-handling skills
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
