Job Description:

What You will do:

  • Carry out quantity take-offs and measurements for various civil and construction activities.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed quantity calculations based on drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
  • Verify quantities executed at site and coordinate with the site team for accurate measurements.
  • Monitor changes in quantities during project execution and maintain proper records.
  • Prepare estimates based on drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Assist in preparing detailed quantity and cost estimates for various construction activities.
  • Review quantities and identify discrepancies between drawings, BOQs, and actual site requirements.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling quantity-related activities in coordination with the project/site team.
  • Monitor progress against planned quantities and report deviations.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely availability of quantity and estimation information.
  • Apply knowledge of MEP works while preparing quantities and estimates.
  • Review MEP-related requirements in coordination with project and site teams.
  • Understand the quantity and estimation requirements associated with MEP works.
  • Maintain accurate records of quantities, estimates, measurements, and related documents.
  • Prepare periodic quantity and estimation reports as required by management.
  • Ensure proper documentation of revisions, variations, and changes in quantities.

Requirements:

  • B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Estimation, and Planning.
  • Advanced knowledge of MEP-related works is required/preferred as specified in the manpower requirement.
  • Candidates should have practical exposure to construction/project-site activities.
