Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Quantity Surveyor role based in Noida. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support cost management activities across project stages, including preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), assisting with cost planning, and contributing to accurate cost reporting. The role involves gathering and analyzing cost data, helping monitor project budgets, and supporting cost control measures to ensure projects remain within approved financial parameters. Day-to-day responsibilities include working closely with project managers and senior quantity surveyors, maintaining project documentation, contributing to tender evaluations, and assisting with valuations and interim payment recommendations. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to company standards and local regulations, and effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in cost management and cost planning to support accurate budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Candidates should possess skills in cost control and cost reporting to help monitor expenditures and prepare clear cost summaries.
  • Candidates should possess skills related to BOQ preparation and review to ensure quantity and cost accuracy for materials and services.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and data interpretation skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and relevant quantity surveying or cost management software.
  • Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications, with good knowledge of construction methods and materials.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
  • Prior internship or junior experience in quantity surveying, cost consulting, or construction projects will be an advantage.
