Assistant Purchasing Manager

We are looking for a Senior Executive - RM Procurement to manage end-to-end procurement for Pharmaceuticals RM materials. The role focuses on vendor development, cost optimization, and ensuring timely, high-quality, and sustainable packaging solutions that align with brand and product needs.

About the Role

The Senior Executive - RM Procurement will be responsible for managing the procurement process for raw materials in the Pharmaceuticals sector.

Responsibilities

Job Description/ Key Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing of RM API /Excipient /Chemical for NDP for regulated market and non-regulated
2. PO creation as per user requirement for R&D and PV
3. Timely follow up with vendor and ensure delivery on time.
4. Price negotiation skill
5. Vendor development of RM & PM and co-ordination for audit of the vendors facility in case of new vendors
6. Supplier relationship management
7. Vendor evaluation and performance
8. Close co-ordination with Cross functional team
9. Communications Skill
10. MIS
11. Follow with account for timely vendor payment.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate / Postgraduate in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field
• Experience: 6-8 years of raw procurement experience in any B2B industry, preferred experience in Pharmaceuticals

• Sound understanding of packaging materials and processes
• Proficiency in ERP/SAP or similar procurement tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Pharmaceuticals industry Only ( Formulations)
