Role Description

This full-time, on-site role is based in Gurugram for the position of Assistant Purchasing Manager. The responsibilities include managing procurement activities, vendor relations, and negotiating with suppliers to secure quality materials within budget. The role involves developing and maintaining procurement strategies, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring supply chain efficiency. The Assistant Purchasing Manager will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to achieving organizational objectives by streamlining purchasing processes and adhering to compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Procurement, Vendor Management, and Supply Chain Coordination
  • Skills in Negotiation, Cost Optimization, and Budget Management
  • Competence in Market Research, Supplier Analysis, and Risk Management
  • Familiarity with Quality Standards, Compliance Procedures, and Data Analysis
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in leveraging digital tools and technology for procurement processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Experience in the automotive industry and knowledge of E-mobility trends will be an asset
