Job Responsibility
Sourcing Vendor Management:Identify and vet reliable vendors and suppliers. Negotiate prices, terms, and deadlines to ensure the best possible value for the company.
Strategic Planning:Develop and implement procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
Budgeting:Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Manage the procurement budget and provide clear financial forecasting.
Contract Management:Review and manage existing contracts and renewals. Ensure all agreements meet legal and corporate compliance standards.
Inventory Control:Work closely with the warehouse and production teams to ensure optimal stock levels without over-investing in dead inventory.
Risk Management:Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans (e.g., alternative sourcing) to ensure business continuity.
