Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Planner & Documentation Specialist to develop comprehensive project plans, maintain documentation systems, and ensure effective communication across project teams. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project planning methodologies and document management practices.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Scheduling Develop detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning tools and methodologies. Create work breakdown structures, identify critical paths, and establish realistic timelines for project deliverables. Monitor progress against established milestones and adjust plans as needed to accommodate scope changes or resource constraints.
Documentation Management Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation systems for projects, processes, and procedures. Create standardized templates, filing systems, and version control processes. Ensure all project documentation meets organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Communication Facilitate regular planning meetings and status updates with project teams and stakeholders. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate project status, risks, and recommendations. Coordinate with multiple departments to gather requirements and update project parameters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in project planning and documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and project management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with document management systems and version control
