In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Conceptualize, implement and test process models, logic emulation, and development of GUI as required for projects.
- Study customer plant operations and control systems to identify performance improvement opportunities.
- Collect data from customer sites for projects/proposals.
- Support the generation of required project/proposal documentation.
- Configure models and controllers per project requirements.
- Demonstrate technology offerings and project work to customers and third parties during acceptance tests.
- Participate in meetings with sales and solution consultants to understand requirements, estimate costs, optimize solutions, and assist in risk mitigation.
- Plan, allocate, and monitor tasks for project execution; report progress weekly.
- Support any project or proposal engineering activity as instructed by PM/supervisor.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior engineers.
- Assist sales team in setting up and conducting demos for events and roadshows.
- Continuously review and improve processes and tools, and lead related initiatives.
- Drive improvement of technical support functions from the Industrial Software CoE.
- Lead or support organizational initiatives as assigned by supervisor or management.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Ability to read P&IDs, PFDs, Equipment Datasheets, and other technical documents.
- Experience with dynamic simulation tools: Aspen Hysys, Aspen Plus, Aspen Dynamics, Unisim, Dynsim, K-Spice, INDISS, Mimic.
- Awareness of AspenTech products and modeling software.
- Execution experience in DTS/OTS projects including configuration and delivery.
- Led 3–4 simulation projects (Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemicals, LNG, etc.).
- Experience in leading meetings, acceptance tests (MAT/MVT, FAT, SAT), and training sessions.
- Ability to manage multiple simulation projects in parallel.
- Familiarity with integrating process models with control/safety systems.
- Sales support experience, including presales engagements.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer engagement skills.
- Willing to mentor, guide team members, and organize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to accommodate global time zones.
- Prior experience in team or resource management.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- BE/B.Tech in Chemical or Petrochemical Engineering from a reputed institute.
- 8–12 years of experience in dynamic process simulation.
- Experience in process plant operations is a plus.
