Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team in planning, executing, and closing projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with Project Managers and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
  • Support Project Managers in day-to-day project activities and coordination
  • Help monitor project progress and report on status to stakeholders
  • Maintain project documentation and update project management software
  • Coordinate with team members, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution
  • Assist in managing project risks and developing mitigation strategies
  • Help prepare project reports, presentations, and other communications
  • Support budget tracking and cost control measures
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions
  • Assist in quality assurance processes and ensure adherence to project standards
  • Support change management processes and update project plans accordingly
  • Help coordinate project closeout activities and lessons learned sessions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or related role
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or working towards it
  • Experience in relevant industry (e.g., construction, IT, manufacturing)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
