ASSISTANT PROJECT ENGINEER

Duties & Responsibilities

. Assist Project Team in project coordination and management to ensure the projects are executed within schedule and budget

. Supervisesite mechanical and structures installation, testing and commissioning work

. Preparation of project documents such as safe work procedures, risk assessment, engineering drawings and quality records

. Ensure site equipment and tools are in safe and good working condition and maintained if necessary

. Perform safety site walk and report any abnormalities or unsafe practices to Project Team immediately

. Planand coordinate workers and subcontractors deployment and activities

. Purchasingof project materials and follow up on deliveries

. Anyother duties as and when assigned by immediate superior.

Requirement

. Candidatesmust possess at least a Diploma in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering or itsequivalent

. Minimum1-2 years of experience in mechanical related project preferred

. Preferablywith experience in AutoCAD 2D/3D software for mechanical piping drawing

. Proficiencyin Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project)

. Must be comfortable to work in engineering/ construction environment

. Willing to work in Tuas area.
