Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lectures, studio sessions, and workshops in UX/UI, Design Thinking, and Digital Product Design. Mentor students through projects, portfolio development, and internships. Develop curriculum and teaching material aligned with current industry standards.
Participate in academic reviews, exhibitions, juries, and student evaluations.
Collaborate with industry partners to bring live projects and case studies into classrooms.
Engage in research, publications, or creative practice relevant to design education.
Contribute to outreach activities, events, and institutional growth initiatives.
Qualification & Experience:
Educational Qualification:
Master's degree in design (M. Des) or equivalent in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, Digital Product Design, Human-Centered Design, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
Experience:
3–5 years of academic and/or professional experience in UX/UI, interaction, or product interface design.
Prior teaching experience in a design institute will be preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Expertise in UX methodologies, user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, etc. Strong understanding of design systems, UI patterns, and accessibility standards. Ability to mentor students in design thinking, concept development, and execution. Knowledge of AI applications in design process, Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Passion for design education and technology-driven innovation, and continuous learning.
Desirable Attributes:
Experience in handling industry projects or consultancy assignments.
Knowledge of AR/VR interfaces, and digital design trends.
Contribution to research, publications, or professional design networks.
