Assistant Professor Computer Science & Applications
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Instruction
- Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Computer Science and Applications.
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and seminars.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and examinations.
Research & Academic Development
- Conduct research in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, etc.
- Publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Apply for research grants and collaborate with industry/academic partners.
Student Mentoring
- Guide students in projects, internships, and career development.
- Supervise final-year projects and dissertations.
- Provide academic counseling and mentorship.
Curriculum Development
- Participate in designing and updating course curriculum aligned with industry trends.
- Develop new courses, lab modules, and learning resources.
Administrative & Institutional Responsibilities
- Participate in departmental committees and academic activities.
- Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, conferences, and technical events.
- Contribute to accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional development.
Industry Collaboration
- Build connections with industry for internships, training, and collaborative research.
- Encourage innovation, startups, and practical learning.
Qualifications
Master's Degree (M.Tech / M.Sc. / MCA) in Computer Science / Computer Applications / related field.
NET / SET / PhD preferred or as per University Grants Commission (UGC) / All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) norms.
Strong academic record with good communication and teaching skills.
Desired Skills & Expertise:
Programming languages (Python, Java, C++, etc.)
Knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, Databases
Experience with modern technologies (AI/ML, Cloud, Web Development)
Research and publication experience
Good presentation and mentoring skills
