Teaching & Academic Delivery
- Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Product Design and related disciplines.
- Conduct studio-based learning, workshops, critiques, and project reviews.
- Develop course plans, assignments, assessments, and learning materials.
- Mentor students in academic, industry-sponsored, and capstone projects.
- Integrate emerging technologies, sustainability, and human-centered design approaches into teaching.
Research & Innovation
- Engage in research, publications, patents, or funded projects in design and innovation.
- Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and experimental design practices.
- Support incubation, entrepreneurship, and innovation initiatives within the institution.
Industry Engagement
- Build collaborations with industry partners, design studios, and manufacturing sectors.
- Facilitate internships, live projects, workshops, and guest lectures.
- Stay updated with current trends in product design, UX, fabrication technologies, and market practices.
Academic Administration
- Participate in curriculum development and accreditation activities.
- Contribute to departmental events, exhibitions, juries, and institutional committees.
- Support admissions, outreach activities, and student development initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- M. Design in Product Design/Industrial Design.
- Prior teaching experience in a reputed design institution.
- Industry experience in product development, industrial design, furniture design, consumer products, or innovation consulting carries an extra advantage
