Job Summary

Rama University, a premier institution committed to excellence in education, research, and innovation, invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Pharmacology within the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver lectures, seminars, and practical sessions for undergraduate (B.Pharm) and postgraduate (M.Pharm in Pharmacology) programs, covering topics such as general pharmacology, systemic pharmacology, toxicology, drug interactions, and pharmacodynamics.

- Develop and update course curricula in alignment with Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) guidelines, incorporating contemporary advancements in pharmacological research.

- Supervise and mentor graduate students in research projects, theses, and laboratory work, promoting hands-on experience in experimental pharmacology and bioassays.

- Conduct independent and collaborative research in areas such as drug discovery, molecular pharmacology, or clinical pharmacology, aiming to publish in peer-reviewed journals and secure external funding.

- Participate in departmental activities, including curriculum committees, accreditation processes, and outreach programs to enhance industry-academia partnerships.

- Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support academic progress.

- Contribute to the university's broader goals by engaging in community service, continuing education programs, and faculty development initiatives.
