Role Description

Amity University is seeking a qualified Assistant Professor of Psychology for a full-time, on-site role at our Hyderabad campus. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, developing and updating curriculum, mentoring students, and conducting impactful academic research. Additionally, the role involves participation in departmental activities, contributing to the university's academic mission, and fostering an engaging learning environment.

Qualifications
  • Strong background in Psychology with demonstrable knowledge in relevant subfields.
  • Proficiency in Teaching and University Teaching with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
  • Experience in Curriculum Development for academic programs.
  • Proven ability to conduct impactful Research and publish in reputable academic journals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration with faculty and mentor students effectively.
  • A doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Psychology or a closely related discipline is required.
  • Previous teaching experience at the university level is highly desirable.
  • Commitment to academic excellence, ethical teaching practices, and continuous professional growth.
