Role Description

Amity University is seeking a dedicated and qualified individual for the full-time, on-site role of Assistant Professor of Psychology at our Hyderabad campus. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality teaching in psychology courses, engaging in research activities, designing and updating curriculum, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic and professional development of the department. Faculty are expected to maintain excellence in teaching and contribute to research and publication efforts in their area of expertise while fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and expertise in the field of Psychology
• Experience in Curriculum Development and designing academic programs
• Proficiency in University Teaching and classroom management
• Proven ability to engage in Research and contribute to academic publications
• Advanced academic qualifications, such as a Ph.D. in Psychology mandatory
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills
• Commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive academic environment
• Previous teaching experience and contributions to the field of psychology will be considered an asset
