Job Description

Amity University Punjab invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Law. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate law courses, conducting quality legal research, publishing scholarly work, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and institutional development.

Minimum Qualification

Ph.D. in Law (Thesis Submitted) or Ph.D. AwardedUGC-NET QualifiedLL.M. in a relevant specialization with a strong academic record.

Key Responsibilities

Teach LL.B. and LL.M. courses and develop innovative teaching methodologies.Conduct and publish research in reputed peer-reviewed journals.Guide students in moot courts, legal research projects, dissertations, and internships.Participate in curriculum development and academic administration.Contribute to accreditation and quality assurance activities in compliance with academic standards and professional bodies.

Preferred Areas Of Specialization

Constitutional LawCriminal LawCorporate LawIntellectual Property LawOther emerging areas of legal studies.

Skills Required

Excellent legal research and drafting abilities.Strong communication and presentation skills.Commitment to academic excellence and student mentoring.Ability to publish and contribute to interdisciplinary research.

Experience

Prior teaching experience is preferred and may be mandatory depending on the specific vacancy.Experience in research publications and academic activities will be an added advantage.
