Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jalandhar for an assistant professor of food and beverage service. Responsibilities include designing and delivering engaging lectures, practical training in food and beverage service, and mentoring students to develop their practical and theoretical knowledge. You will conduct assessments, participate in academic curriculum development, and contribute to research and industry collaborations. Additionally, faculty members are expected to foster a collaborative and student-focused learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in hotel management.
  • Strong knowledge and practical expertise in Food and Beverage Service and related hospitality subjects
  • Effective teaching, mentoring, and academic delivery skills in higher education
  • Proficiency in curriculum development and instructional design
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to engage and inspire students
  • Willingness to participate in industry collaborations and research activities
  • Basic computer proficiency for academic technology and document preparation
  • Work experience in the hospitality industry and prior teaching experience are advantageous
