Description
The Assistant Professor of Computer Sciences & Engineering will be responsible for teaching courses, mentoring students, and contributing to research initiatives within the department.
Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and conduct tutorials for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering.
- Develop and implement course materials and assessments.
- Supervise and mentor students in their academic and research projects.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
- Engage in research activities and publish findings in reputable journals.
- Collaborate with other faculty members on interdisciplinary projects.
- Provide academic guidance and support to students.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong foundation in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Familiarity with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and big data technologies.
- Experience with web development and database management systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage students and foster a positive learning environment.
