Role Description

The Assistant Professor of Computer Science Engineering is a full-time, on-site role based at Amity University Punjab's campus in the Mohali district. Responsibilities include developing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum, conducting original research to advance the field, supervising student projects, and publishing research findings in reputable journals. Additional responsibilities include mentoring students, participating in academic and administrative committees, and contributing to the university's innovative learning environment.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related field
• Master's Degree in Computer Science from any Premier Institute/University.
• Expertise in Computer Science and related disciplines, with the ability to teach core subjects effectively
• Proficiency in Data Science and Cybersecurity, with hands-on knowledge in these key areas
• Strong skills in Programming and experience with industry-relevant languages and frameworks
• Experience in developing and innovating academic Curriculum to keep up with evolving industry trends
• Demonstrated research capabilities through publications in reputable journals or conferences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a passion for teaching and mentoring
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary and practical applications of computer science concepts is a plus
