Position: Assistant Professor Computer Science / Information Technology

1. Role Overview

The Assistant Professor in Computer Science will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and departmental development. The role also includes curriculum design, publishing research papers, and participating in university academic activities.

2. Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Academic Delivery

• Deliver lectures and tutorials in Computer Science / IT subjects.
• Teach courses such as programming, data structures, AI/ML, data science, cybersecurity, etc.
• Design and update course materials and lecture content.

1. Curriculum Development

• Develop innovative curriculum aligned with industry trends.
• Prepare assignments, projects, and examination materials.

1. Research & Publications

• Conduct research in emerging areas of Computer Science.
• Publish research papers in reputed journals and conferences.
• Collaborate with other faculty on research projects.

1. Student Mentoring

• Guide students in academic projects and research work.
• Provide mentorship for career development and internships.

1. Departmental & Administrative Work

• Participate in academic committees and university events.
• Contribute to departmental planning and development.
• Coordinate seminars, workshops, and technical events.

3. Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science / Information Technology / related field (submitted or completed).
• Strong academic background with good research potential.
• Expertise in core Computer Science subjects and programming.

4. Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of:
• Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
• Data Science / Big Data
• Cybersecurity / Cloud Computing
• Curriculum development experience
• Strong teaching, communication, and presentation skills.

5. Experience

• Teaching or research experience preferred (as per UGC/AICTE norms).
• Prior industry exposure or academic publications are advantageous.
