Assistant Professor of Computer Science

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science located at the Ranchi campus. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, mentoring students, developing innovative curricula, and conducting research in the field of computer science. The role will also include collaborating with colleagues on academic projects, guiding student research activities, and participating in departmental initiatives to enhance overall educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in core Computer Science concepts and educational practices
• Expertise in Data Science and Cybersecurity, with the ability to teach and conduct research in these areas
• Strong programming skills across multiple languages and platforms
• Experience in Curriculum Development to create modern and impactful academic programs
• Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and colleagues
• Publications and contributions to the field are considered a plus
• Commitment to advancing education and research in Computer Science
