Job Summary
Amity University Punjab is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Applied Psychology. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and institutional development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Applied Psychology.
- Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in reputed journals.
- Supervise student projects, dissertations, and internships.
- Mentor and guide students in academic and career development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, workshops, and university activities.
- Contribute to accreditation, research grants, and academic collaborations.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies and educational technologies.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in Psychology / Applied Psychology or a closely related field from a recognized university.
- Master's degree in Psychology / Applied Psychology with a strong academic record.
- UGC-NET qualification preferred.
- Prior teaching and research experience in higher education institutions will be an advantage.
- Strong publication record and research aptitude preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
