Assistant Professor of Applied Psychology

Role Description

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Professor of Applied Psychology for a full-time, on-site position at Amity University, Hyderabad.

In this role, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, designing and delivering engaging course content, and supporting students in their academic and professional growth. You will also be expected to contribute to research activities and help strengthen the university's commitment to academic excellence.

Key responsibilities include guiding student projects, organizing workshops, seminars, and academic events, as well as actively participating in faculty meetings and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related field is highly preferred.
• Master's degree in Applied Psychology from a recognized university/institution.
• Strong academic foundation in Psychology, with practical understanding of applied areas of the discipline.
• Experience in curriculum development and enhancing academic programs for diverse learners.
• Prior university teaching experience, with the ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Excellent teaching skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively.
• Demonstrated research experience, including publications and/or applied research contributions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to mentor, motivate, and inspire students while promoting collaboration and inclusivity within the academic community.
