Mahatma Gandhi College of Nursing, part of Mahatma Gandhi Group of Colleges, invites applications for Assistant Professor – Medical Surgical Nursing (MSN).

Location: Sikar, Rajasthan, India (on-site)

Employment: Full-time, permanent

Schedule: Day shift

Number of vacancies: 1

Salary: 25,000–40,000 per month, based on qualification and experience

Responsibilities

• Teach B.Sc. Nursing and GNM students in Medical Surgical Nursing.

• Conduct classroom lectures, tutorials, practical demonstrations and clinical teaching.

• Supervise students during clinical postings and hospital training.

• Guide assignments, case studies, seminars, projects and research work.

• Participate in curriculum planning and departmental academic activities.

• Maintain academic records and support compliance with applicable Nursing Council guidelines.

• Mentor students and support institutional quality initiatives.

Qualifications and experience

• M.Sc. Nursing in Medical Surgical Nursing from a recognized institution.

• Registration with the relevant Nursing Council.

• 3–5 years of teaching or relevant clinical experience.

• Good communication, clinical, research and mentoring skills.
