Job Summary
AIMS Institutes is seeking a qualified and dynamic academic professional for the position of
Assistant Professor in
Marketing & General Management within the School of Business. The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Management and have a minimum of 5 years of experience teaching at the postgraduate level (MBA). The role requires a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and student engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lectures and academic content in Marketing and General Management subjects to MBA students.
- Design and update course materials, syllabi, and assessment methods in line with academic and industry standards.
- Guide students in academic projects, internships, and research activities.
- Engage in academic research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and present at national/international conferences.
- Participate in academic planning, curriculum development, and institutional committees.
- Mentor and support students in their academic and career goals.
- Contribute actively to accreditation processes and quality assurance initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Ph.D. in Management with a specialization in Marketing and/or General Management (Mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years of full-time teaching experience at the MBA/PGDM level.
- Proven track record of research publications in UGC/Scopus-indexed journals.
- Strong academic, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with outcome-based education (OBE), case-based teaching, and digital learning platforms will be an advantage.
