Assistant Professor

MMDU invites applications for a Professor of Computer Science to instruct university-level courses, conduct original research, and publish academic papers.

Required Qualifications

• Education: A Ph.D./ M.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field is typically required for professorships.
• Experience: Previous teaching experience in higher education and a record of research publications.
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of programming languages, software development, and specialized computer science subfields.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and time-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching & Instruction: Develop and deliver curriculum, prepare lectures, and conduct labs in computer science, programming, or technology topics.
• Research & Scholarship: Conduct specialized research, secure funding, and publish in academic journals.
• Student Support: Mentor undergraduate/graduate students, supervise research projects, and offer academic/career guidance.
• Assessment & Administration: Grade assignments, exams, and projects, maintain records, and participate in academic committees.
• Industry Collaboration: Establish partnerships for internships and keep up with emerging industry technologies.
