Assistant Professor & Joint Technical Advisor

Job Title:- Applications are invited for the post of Assistant Professor & Joint Technical Advisor (01 No.) at Department of Alcohol Technology & Biofuels. Application should be submitted by email to VSI along with scanned copies of original Certificates, CV/Resume on or before 5 th June 2026.

Job Profile:- To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should demonstrate the competencies in following areas: The candidate should have good knowledge related to various aspects of biogas/CBG production using sugar industry-based feedstocks/ any industrial waste/ agrowaste. The candidate having experience in FOM handling will be preferred. The candidate should have aptitude offering consultancy services particularly in the area of biogas and CBG. Candidate is also required to get involved in research in the area of biogas and CBG. Candidate is also required to get involved in academic activities related to alcohol technology & biofuels and to provide technical support to various Government authorities.

Terms & Conditions:- This Post is on Contract basis for a period of 11 months.
