Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor at Guru Nanak University, located in Hyderabad. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering lectures, conducting research, and mentoring students. Additional responsibilities include preparing and reviewing course materials, assessing student progress, and contributing to curriculum development. The Assistant Professor will actively engage in academic activities, seminars, and collaborative projects to enhance the learning environment and contribute to the University's mission of fostering a world-class education.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background and subject matter expertise in the relevant discipline
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, and curriculum development
- Research skills and a proven track record of publishing work in reputable journals
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting student success
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline is preferred
- Experience presenting at conferences and engaging in academic collaborations is an asset
- Familiarity with advanced teaching tools and innovative pedagogical methods
