Role & responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Finance and Accounting as per the approved curriculum and academic framework of the University.
- Subject knowledge of Company Accounts / Financial Accounting, Cost & Management Accounting, Fundamentals of Financial Markets, Corporate Finance, Business Context of Accounting, Income Tax, Intermediate Cost Accounting, Merchant Banking & Financial Services, Technical Analysis, Commodity Market Operations
- Engage in curriculum design, development of course material, and continuous improvement of teaching learning processes in alignment with outcome-based education (OBE).
- Adopt innovative pedagogical practices, including ICT-enabled teaching, case-based learning, experiential learning, and blended learning approaches.
- Conduct student mentoring, academic advising, and guidance for internships, projects, research, and career development.
- Actively participate in institution-building activities, accreditation processes (NAAC/NIRF), academic committees, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Undertake research, publication, and scholarly activities in reputed journals and contribute to conferences, seminars, workshops, and Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) as per UGC norms.
- Collaborate with industry, academic partners, and professional bodies to strengthen academic industry linkages.
- Support admissions-related activities, including academic counseling, content development, outreach programs, and participation in education fairs.
- Perform academic and administrative responsibilities such as evaluation, examination work, documentation, and other duties as assigned by the University from time to time.
Skill Set:
- Strong academic and administrative capabilities with demonstrated teaching experience in the Finance/Accounting domain.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented academic environment.
- Positive, proactive, and flexible attitude with adaptability to diverse academic and institutional responsibilities.
- Sound subject knowledge with a strong command over the area of specialization.
- Proficiency in research methodology and an inclination towards scholarly research and publications.
Qualifications:
Preferably M.Com / MBA (Finance) with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade/CGPA.
NET qualified in Commerce or Ph.D. in Commerce/Finance; candidates pursuing a Ph.D. from reputed universities/institutions will be preferred.
Salary is not a constrain for a right candidate.
