Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor Fashion Designing role based in Jalandhar. The Assistant Professor will teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in fashion design, including subjects such as design fundamentals, pattern making, garment construction, textiles, fashion illustration, and computer-aided design. Responsibilities include planning and delivering lectures, studio sessions, and practical workshops; developing lesson plans, course materials, and assessment tools aligned with curriculum standards. The role involves evaluating student performance, mentoring and advising students on academic and portfolio development, and guiding project work and internships. The Assistant Professor will support curriculum development, participate in departmental meetings and academic committees, and contribute to accreditation and quality assurance activities. The role also includes engaging in research and creative practice, collaborating with industry for guest lectures and events, and representing the department in seminars, exhibitions, and fashion shows.
