Assistant Professor- Computer Science

Position Summary:

Rama University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Computer Science. The role involves delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducting cutting-edge research, mentoring students, and participating in departmental and university activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Learning:
• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science.
• Develop and update course curricula, ensuring alignment with industry trends and UGC/AICTE guidelines.
• Employ innovative pedagogical methods, including ICT-enabled teaching, to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Supervise student projects, internships, and dissertations.
• Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, examinations, and other assessment tools.
• Research and Innovation:
• Conduct high-quality research in Computer Science, leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Apply for and secure research grants from national and international funding agencies.
• Guide Ph.D. scholars and foster a research-oriented environment.
• Collaborate with industry and academic partners on research projects.
• Institutional and Administrative Duties:
• Participate in departmental and university committees, including NAAC/IQAC activities.
• Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation processes, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Organize workshops, seminars, and conferences to promote academic and industry collaboration.
• Engage in student mentoring and career counseling.
• Community Engagement:
• Participate in outreach programs, including community service and extension activities.
• Promote the university's vision through active involvement in academic and professional networks.
