The Assistant Professor in Computer Science Engineering at Chitkara University will be responsible for delivering quality teaching, conducting research, mentoring students, and actively participating in departmental and institutional activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Instruction
- Deliver lectures in core and emerging CSE subjects such as Data Structures, Algorithms, AI/ML, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, etc.
- Develop and implement innovative instructional methods to enhance learning.
- Prepare course materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Monitor and evaluate student academic performance.
2. Research & Innovation
- Conduct research in areas like AI, Data Science, IoT, Cloud, Blockchain, etc.
- Publish research papers in reputed journals/conferences.
- Guide student research projects and theses.
3. Student Mentorship
- Mentor and guide students in academics and career development.
- Support students in projects, internships, and technical activities.
- Track and improve student performance through regular feedback.
4. Academic & Administrative Duties
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and institutional activities.
- Assist in curriculum development and program enhancement.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and career-development programs.
- Supervise teaching assistants and support academic operations.
5. Industry & Technology Engagement
- Work with modern technologies such as Python, AWS, Azure, Big Data, etc.
- Stay updated with emerging trends like AI/ML, AR/VR, IoT, and Data Analytics.
Qualifications & Eligibility
- Ph.D. in Computer Science is mandatory
- Experience:0–8 years of teaching/research experience (fresh Ph.D. candidates can apply)
