Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor – Business Analytics role based in Bengaluru. The selected candidate will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business analytics, ensuring that curriculum content is current, rigorous, and industry-relevant. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, facilitating labs and tutorials, developing assessments, supervising student projects, and providing academic advising and mentoring. The role involves conducting and publishing high-quality research in business analytics and related areas, seeking research collaborations, and contributing to funded projects where possible. The Assistant Professor will also participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, accreditation activities, faculty development initiatives, and outreach or training programs with industry partners.

Qualifications

Ph.D. is mandatory

Strong expertise in teaching Big data Analytics, Block chain and Healthcare Analytics.

• Strong expertise in Curriculum Development and the design of business analytics programs and courses.
• Demonstrated experience or strong potential in University Teaching and learner-cantered instructional methods.
• Proven ability or strong interest in conducting Research in business analytics, data science, or related fields.
• Experience in Training, workshops, or executive education in analytics or quantitative methods.
• Foundational knowledge in Economics as it relates to business decision-making and analytical modelling.
• Relevant postgraduate degree (preferably PhD or ABD) in Business Analytics, Management, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency with analytical tools and technologies (e.g., R, Python, SQL, Excel, BI tools) and willingness to integrate them into teaching.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts clearly.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching practices, student mentoring, and collaborative work within a multidisciplinary academic environment.
• Prior teaching, industry, or consulting experience in analytics or business-related domains is an advantage.
