Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional for the position of Assistant Professor in the BHM Department. The candidate should possess strong academic credentials with proven expertise in teaching, academic administration, and Food & Beverage operations. Prior experience in NAAC accredited institutions is essential.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management / Tourism Management / Management or relevant discipline (Mandatory)
- Master's Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management or related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum relevant teaching experience in higher education institutions.
- Experience in academic administration and departmental coordination.
- Hands-on industry knowledge in complete Food & Beverage operations.
- Prior experience in NAAC accredited colleges/institutions is mandatory.
- Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching for BHM undergraduate programs.
- Teach core subjects related to Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, Front Office, Housekeeping, Hospitality Operations, and Management subjects.
- Train students in practical hospitality skills with industry standards.
- Manage and supervise Food & Beverage labs, training restaurants, banquets, and practical sessions.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Handle student mentoring, internships, projects, and placement support.
- Coordinate academic schedules, university compliance, and departmental documentation.
- Contribute actively to NAAC accreditation processes, IQAC activities, and quality initiatives.
- Organize workshops, guest lectures, industry visits, events, and hospitality training programs.
- Build industry linkages for internships and placements.
- Support admissions, student engagement, and institutional development initiatives.
