Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, qualified, and industry-oriented professional for the position of Assistant Professor in the BBA Aviation. The ideal candidate should possess strong teaching skills, academic administration experience, and sound knowledge of aviation management and airline operations. Prior experience in NAAC accredited colleges/institutions is essential.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in Management / Aviation Management / Tourism / Commerce / related discipline.
- Master's Degree in Aviation Management / MBA / Management / related field from a recognized university.
- Relevant teaching experience in higher education institutions.
- Industry exposure in aviation, airline, airport, hospitality, or travel sectors preferred.
- Experience in academic administration and departmental coordination preferred.
- Prior experience in NAAC accredited colleges/institutions is mandatory.
- Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching for BBA Aviation undergraduate programs.
- Teach subjects such as Aviation Management, Airline Operations, Airport Management, Customer Service, Travel & Tourism, Logistics, Business Communication, Principles of Management, Marketing, and related areas.
- Prepare lesson plans, academic content, assignments, assessments, and evaluation reports.
- Mentor students for academics, internships, projects, placements, and career development.
- Coordinate industrial visits, airport visits, guest lectures, workshops, and aviation-related events.
- Build industry connect with airlines, airports, travel agencies, and service organizations for internships and placements.
- Participate actively in NAAC, IQAC, accreditation, and quality enhancement processes.
- Support admissions, student engagement, discipline, and departmental operations.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, documentation, and university compliance requirements.
- Undertake research activities, publish papers, and attend FDPs, seminars, and conferences.
