Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science and Software Engineering.
- Develop innovative, industry-relevant curricula and laboratory experiences.
- Supervise student projects, internships, and research initiatives.
- Conduct high-quality research leading to publications in internationally recognized journals and conferences.
- Secure externally funded research projects and foster interdisciplinary collaborations.
- Mentor students for innovation challenges, hackathons, and entrepreneurship initiatives.
- Contribute to accreditation, quality assurance, and continuous academic improvement.
- Build partnerships with industry for internships, live projects, consultancy, and collaborative research.
- Participate actively in academic administration, curriculum development, and university service.
Minimum Qualifications
Assistant Professor
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Strong academic background with demonstrated teaching potential.
- Evidence of quality research publications in Scopus or Web of Science indexed journals and reputed conferences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Associate Professor
- Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
- Significant teaching experience at a recognized higher education institution.
- Strong publication record in high-quality journals.
- Demonstrated success in research funding, doctoral supervision, and academic leadership.
- Industry collaboration and curriculum development experience will be an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- International academic or industry experience.
- Postdoctoral research experience.
- Experience in Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and accreditation frameworks such as NBA, NAAC, ABET, or AACSB.
- Experience using modern software development tools, cloud platforms, and AI technologies.
- Active industry certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Cisco, Oracle, Red Hat, etc.).
- Experience supervising Ph.D. scholars and funded research projects.
- Demonstrated engagement with innovation ecosystems, startups, or technology commercialization.
