Role Description The Assistant Professor – AI/ML will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions in artificial intelligence and machine learning for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. This full-time on-site role, based in Sonipat, involves designing and updating course materials, supervising student projects, guiding research work, and conducting assessments in line with academic standards. The role includes mentoring students on academic and career paths, collaborating with faculty on curriculum enhancement, and participating in departmental activities and academic events. The Assistant Professor will be expected to stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies, contribute to research and publications, and engage with industry partners to support ImaginXP's future-skills mission.
Qualifications

• Strong academic background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field; preferably a PhD or Master's degree with relevant specialization.
• Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML concepts, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, neural networks, NLP, and model evaluation.
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools commonly used in AI/ML (e.g., Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Jupyter notebooks).
• Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and creating industry-aligned course content for AI/ML and related domains.
• Prior teaching or training experience at the university or professional level, with the ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear, accessible manner.
• Research aptitude with a track record of publications, projects, or industry collaborations in AI/ML or adjacent technology fields.
• Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with a student-centric and inclusive teaching approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in design, technology, and business, and contribute to academic and institutional initiatives.
