Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Allocate work, monitor team performance, provide coaching.

2. Develop team capabilities through training, knowledge sharing, and continuous feedback.

3. Establish priorities, manage workloads, and ensure sourcing projects are completed on time and within budget.

4. Act as the primary escalation point for sourcing and supplier-related issues and drive timely resolution.

5. Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions to improve quality, delivery, and service levels.

6. Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to support timely shipments.

7. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify sourcing opportunities and recommend new products or suppliers.

8. Drive process improvements to enhance sourcing efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen supplier partnerships.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, International Business, Marketing, or related discipline

2. MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred

3. 5-8 years of experience in Product Sourcing, Procurement, Product Development, or Supply Chain, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role

4. Experience in building materials, natural stone, porcelain, ceramics, manufacturing, or related industries is preferred

5. Experience managing cross-functional teams and supplier relationships is highly desirable

6. Proven leadership and people management skills

7. Strong communication, and stakeholder management abilities

8. Excellent planning, organization, and project management skills

9. Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving capabilities

10. Ability to motivate teams, manage change, and build a collaborative work environment

11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics

12. Knowledge of inventory planning, and strategic sourcing practices

13. Flexible to Work from Office

14. Open to short term overseas business travel

15. Candidates with a valid Us visa is a plus
