Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Procurement Manager

Location: Bengaluru

Experience: 4 - 5 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure interior design materials
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier and vendor relationships.
  • Obtain competitive quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Prepare purchase orders, maintain accurate procurement records, and ensure alignment with project budgets.
  • Closely coordinate with the Accounts team to process purchase orders, submit vendor invoices, and ensure timely payments.
  • Track order status, manage delivery timelines, and conduct quality checks upon receipt.
  • Maintain and update vendor database with performance reviews, pricing history, and compliance documentation.
  • Raise and follow up on vendor payments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure all financial documentation is accurate.
  • Coordinate logistics and deliveries to project sites as per schedule.
  • Stay informed about new materials, market trends, and sustainable sourcing options.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the interior design, architecture, or construction industry.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software/tools (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
